Meet the Reeves Family – Founders of Rugby Taggers
Darren is Lead Coach at Rugby Taggers. His Rugby Career spans over nearly 3 decades and in this time has built vast experience in many areas of the sport. Darren not only has the ability to adapt his coaching skills to suit all age groups, from as young as 2 years old up to adult men and women’s rugby, he also injects fun, energy and excitement into everything he does. For more information about Darren’s career visit the ‘Back Story’ page.
Owen, age 13, is the eldest son who began his Rugby career at Rugby Taggers in 2017, aged 9 at the time. In 2018 he began playing for the under 11’s at TJSRFC where his love for the sport blossomed, so much so he swapped his journey as a 2 time black belt in Kung Fu for Rugby. Now you will see Owen working alongside Darren, his Dad, during the 3-5 year session.
Jack, age 9, is the youngest son and merch model. Jack has attended Rugby Taggers since 2017, aged 5, where he started in the 3-5 session and gradually progressed into the 6+ session. Jack is a welcoming young man, he sees a friend in everyone and you will often see his Dad asking him to demonstrate activities for the 3-5 year session.
Carrina is Brand Developer of Rugby Taggers, Darren’s finance, Mum to Owen and Jack, lady at the desk and always hidden behind the camera. Pre Pandemic Carrina had a 23 year career within the Beauty Industry, however post lock down ‘Take 1’ took the opportunity to change her career direction and spear head Rugby Taggers growth and development.
